Prizes
Champions Poker League offers the largest prizes in UK pub poker! No matter how you play with us, there are so many chances to win!
With up to £100,000 at our live finals, £1,000’s online at with our sponsor William Hill, a GUKPT seat for the on-line league winner and up to £1190000 played for in pubs up and down the country there has never been a better time to get involved with Champions Poker League.
Prizes at Quarterly Finals
At the end of every quarterly season we hold multiple Quarterly Finals across the country spread over 2 weekends. The players at each Quarterly Final compete for a prize pool of up to £2250 with up to 12 places paid out, the biggest prizes in UK pub poker history!
The prize pool, along with the number of places paid out, is adjusted according to the number of players attending a final so that ever final has an appropriate prize fund.
In addition, the top 10% of players from each quarterly final (rounding up) will qualify through to our yearly National Final. The first place winner will also receive a Champions Poker League Quarterly Final trophy!

Prizes at National Finals
Once a year the top players from each of the four Quarterly finals are invited through to our National Final, held at the Grosvenor Casino in Coventry. Here players compete for a £10,500 prize pool, including buy-ins to high profile poker tournaments! We aim to make this tournament an occasion to remember with players from all over the country vying for the chance to be crowned the National Pub Poker Champion and lift the crystal trophy!
The CPL National Winner last year won an all expenses paid trip worth over £3500 to the Main Event of the Grosvenor UK poker Tour in London with a prize pool of over £500,000. | |
Total live potential prize pool
If your pub wants to play for cash and points on the CPL poker night then, unlike some of our competitors, this does not decrease the amount that can be won at our Quarterly Finals since we hold our finals in casinos as apposed to pubs. This allows us to legally allow the players to play for up to £100 each evening in the pub and offer great prizes at the quarterly finals. How does the law affect prizes? - Check out our legality section to find out.
We have 238 venues, each playing once a week and able to offer up to £100 in prizes that’s up to £1190000 per year (based on 50 weeks).
PLUS up to £100,000 in prizes at our casino finals every year. This means a total potential live prize pool of:
