Leeds results are in!

Champions Poker League, the UK's #1 Pub Poker League
The 79 runners made a good start, we didn't lose our first player until the second blind level, with a cheer and clap he left the poker room.

It was slow until first break, with only about 15 players dropping out. After the break they started to fall quickly and before long we were down to just three tables from eight.

After lunch everyone was playing much more cagey, but with blinds rising we soon got down to the last 10 players. Rachel Jones was panicking, as she was short stacked with just 8000 chips, and the blinds were 4000 and 8000, but just before her big blind three callers went all in, taking two more players our on the bubble! She had made the National! Well done Rachel!

Jeanette Beevers was hoping to do a double up, as she had won the final before, but unfortunately it was not to be. With the last two girls gone it was down to the boys.

It came to a heads up between Mark Stakes and Derek Fell, both evenly balanced on chips. All in was the call, Mark's JQ versus Derek's K4. The king held up to take down the final, well done Derek!

A good day was had by all, see you all next final!
