A good day out as usual, great to meet up with old friends and have a laugh. Just a shame the poker has to be turned into an all-in bingo-fest by the ridiculous blind structure.

Hi there Steve. We are interested in your feedback as we have never had any complaints before regarding the blind structure at the Luton venue. Was the format/blind structure different to that played in the previous quarterly finals you attended there ? We have in fact for these quarterly finals (and future finals) significantly increased the starting stack and add-on chip stacks with the same blind structure used at all the casino's hosting quarterly finals and have so far had only favourable comments about this change. Regards, Paul

Interestingly the guy running the Salford final said he had taken out at least one level and would take out more if he felt the tournament was taking too long.

Seems that the person in control of the event has carte blanche to alter the structure as they see fit.

I'd prefer a published, fixed structure to be honest.

Hi Bryan. Our TD's do have the authority to remove blind levels if necessary, to achieve a suitable finish time. Also bear in mind that the increase of 66% on the overall chip allocation introduced for each player, meant a lot more chips were in play, so we weren't 100% sure how long the tournament would take. We will endeavour to monitor the blind structure and finishing times over forthcoming finals, to make sure that everyone is happy with things. Thanks for your feedback.

On the subject of Luton 1/4 finals and also TD'S. I'd just like to say I think Dave does a fab job and it's nice to see his familiar face whenever I go to Luton :D

Agree with Dawn. I really like the 5K start stack & i've not been to a quarter final that wasn't well organised. Bit frustrating when blind levels are removed but completely understand the need to finish on time.
