After playing at Luton yesterday, I see so many players who don't bother signing out after they're knocked out. So, my question is.....what is there to stop someone playing in say 2 or even 3 1/4 finals?? So if someone played in Northampton, knocked out, didn't sign out and then went to London, got knocked out, didn't sign out and if they did even manage to play in the London one and didn't get caught out, they could then go to Luton too and try their luck there. Would they pop up on the system as having played already or would you even know?

It's not happened to my knowledge but just thought about it yesterday when so many don't sign out and just wondered if the above could happen

Thanks Paul, that makes sense that when we all register in the poker room, they take our name and money. Completely forgot about that bit and just thought about the people who do and don't sign out at the end and not the beginning.
That's good to know that people can't abuse the system. It would be cheating after all, as they would've had their chance to do well at one place, so a bit cheeky to try again another week somewhere else.
And thanks Bryan, I was asking on the basis of someone turning up to say Luton with his friends to cheer them on, then find a mate can't make it and then take his seat as a replacement, even though he might've played for instance, the week before in London. So wondered if he could be found out because he would have to use his own name if he were to qualify for the finals.
This was just something my friend and I were wondering because so many people fail to sign out of the tournament. For example, we were at Luton and there were 83 runners that day but only 64 signed out.
Thanks for the replies guys

Hi. We do have a record available from the casino of all players who registered or 'started' the tournament that we could refer back to if required, (although we have so far not come across a situation where a player has played at 1 quarterly final and then travelled and bought-in to a second quarterly the following week).

When you qualify for a quartely final you only get to choose one venue to play at.
When you attend your name is checked against a list when you register at the venue.

If you turned up at a second venue then your name won't be on the list...
What the organiser at the venue does then I don't know...I assume they can't let you play, or take the place of someone else that hasn't turned up.
